Woodward Hines Education Foundation Welcomes New Team Members

JACKSON, MISS. – The Woodward Hines Education Foundation (WHEF) is proud to announce the addition of three new team members who will support the organization’s mission to expand access to college and career opportunities for students across Mississippi.
Chelsea Thomas joins the organization as a Counselor at the Gulf Coast Get2College Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) and a Master of Science in Public Relations from The University of Southern Mississippi. Chelsea brings experience as a high school library media specialist and broadcast journalism teacher, where she developed programs that strengthened students’ critical thinking, communication, and research skills. In her role, she will focus on student advising, engagement, and college access support.
Germilia Taylor serves as a Counselor for GEAR UP Outreach in the Mississippi Delta. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Livingstone College and brings a diverse background in aviation, education, and public service. Germilia will support outreach initiatives, working directly with students to help them achieve their educational and career goals.
Brittny McNair serves as an Administrative Assistant and Scheduling Coordinator at the Coast Get2College Center. She plays a key role in coordinating schedules, supporting daily operations, and assisting students and families as they navigate the college-going process. With a strong background in customer service, Brittny is known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to ensure efficient and effective operations.
